The winning candidate for this scholarship will be awarded a sum of $10,000

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must…

  • Be an Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or International Student;
  • Have accepted the offer or conditional offer into one of the following degrees commencing 2017: (Bachelor of Engineering in Network & Software Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of Information Technolog, Bachelor of Software Engineering, A double degree comprising any of the above, Master of Information Technology, Master off Information Technology and Systems, or Master of Engineering)
  • Provide a 500 word statement outlining your achievements in the ICT field and how you plan to apply your skills to the industry within the Canberra region
  • Not have already received a scholarship or grant for your studies at University of Canberra
  • Have accepted your offer at UC only;
  • Agree to your information being made known to the scholarship sponsors for the purposes of the scholarship and its promotion;


To apply for the University of Canberra Information Technology Scholarship, you’re required to note the following:

  1. Recipients must agree to be profiled to promote the scholarship including a written testimonial about their experience in Canberra and studying at UC along with photo consent for promotion;
  2. The University will reserve the right to re-allocate the award if for any reason the award is withdrawn;
  3. A scholarship cannot be deferred;
  4. Recipients should adhere to the University of Canberra’s undergraduate policies and procedures;
