Have you ever thought of having your own website? As in, a real website, not or stuff? Like have a platform to run your own things like a pro?

Well, here’s a great opportunity for you.

I’m going to show you step-by-step methods you’ll follow with illustrative screenshots to easily create your own website with only N10,500 ($32.40) for the first year. You don’t need any previous knowledge to be able to do this successfully. I’m going to help you achieve that.

I also promise you fantastic prizes if you use what I recommend:

  • Register a domain name for free and save N3,000 ($15)
  • Get a fantastic customer support
  • You also get my e-book for FREE

This guide will teach you everything you need to successfully create and host your website. No worries if you don’t have any previous experience. I’ll take you by the hand and show you practical ways you can do this easily.

But before that, let’s quickly know why you would need a website.

Why do you need a website?

In my eBook, 5 Things You Can Do As A Graduate (it’s for free here) I leaked some great secrets there regarding how you can become productive after school. Of course I only use the book to demonstrate one thing: that everyone’s got an idea. And this idea becomes great and rewarding when we put a little effort into it and make it worthwhile.

And one of the ways to make our ideas worthwhile and rewarding is to create a platform for it. Whether you’re a writer or a public speaker, a blogger, a freelance writer, or an entrepreneur, you need a platform to exhibit your skills and talent. It’s platforms Omojuwa, Suraj Oyewale (Jarus) and Seun Osewa, have that make them popular today and allow them the freedom to touch thousands of lives positively.

Now as a difference-maker with lots of great ideas, think of the many things you would achieve when you build the right platform like owning your own website.

Oh wait. Is that what you’re thinking? That you can also own your ideas on free blog, right?

Good. Now hear this:

Of course you can, but you won’t have the freedom to express yourself properly and make lasting impact on others – to be able to spread your tentacle. Moreover, many people won’t take you seriously. Let’s say you open a blog now and starts writing your stuffs there, sharing your great ideas with the world. And suddenly WordPress or Blogger says ‘Hey! That’s enough for you. You can’t go beyond that place.’

Seriously, you can’t use custom email such as (like mine: You can’t use fantastic plugins and premium themes that will make your sites look attractive and professional. You can’t do affiliate marketing and make money doing what you enjoy and many other things. And yes, that’s no kidding. On or blog, you can’t do a whole lot of things because it’s not a self-hosted website. You could also be kicked out anytime. Remember, the popular Nigerian blogger, Jide Ogunsanya was once kicked out from his blogger platform. Then came Linda Ikeji’s turn. They both came back on track though, well, that’s after they’d leant a bitter lesson.

Of course you don’t want to experience that.

So if you open a site today, you will have enough freedom to…

  • Gain a large audience
  • Impact on lives
  • Win people’s trust
  • Sell products and render services
  • Publish books
  • Land speaking engagements
  • And most handsomely fulfil your dreams

When you invest a little and get on a platform that works well for you, the freedom is endless. You will have a lovely website like my own, your hosting account and domain name by installing WordPress CMS. Now that’s what true freedom means! You’d enjoy all you want to do with your own ideas.

Whoever you are, you can do this. You don’t need to know how to write code or be a programming guru. No. You just need to be willing to make a difference.

If you’re feeling like this isn’t your field, no worries. You’re not alone. If I had thought the same thing and folded my arms some time ago when I too was looking for a platform to showcase my ideas, you probably wouldn’t have known about ComsoyHub today.

To succeed in life we must sometimes venture into the unknown, into some things we ordinarily don’t think we could do. And that often brings the best out of us.

Brian Tracy is a smart lad; he captures this succinctly when he said:

”Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow when you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.”

Even Thomas Jefferson couldn’t agree more with Tracy. Hear him:

”Do you want to know who you are? Don’t ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.”

To set up a self-hosted website, you need to have:

  • A hosting account (you need your Mastercard to buy this)
  • A domain name which I’ll show you how to get below for free

Here’s the step-by-step approach to opening your own website:

IMPORTANT: This tutorial I wish to share with you for free contains my affiliate link which means that when you purchase your own hosting through the link, I get paid a commission, for introducing you to a great offer – at no extra cost to you, of course.

Don’t get me wrong. This isn’t why I recommend Host1Plus; I do so because I find that they offer fantastic services which you and I could benefit from. Besides, all other web-hosting services also have affiliate programmes for their valuable customers.

The step-by-step process:

  1. You need to purchase a hosting account that comes with a free domain name from Host1Plus.

A hosting account is where you house your website online. It’s what gives you the freedom to launch your great ideas to the entire world and impact on lives positively. I recommend Host1PLus now because of their fantastic services. They offer a 24/7, responsive customer support service. Other great services offered by Host1Plus include:

  • Unlimited disk space and bandwidth
  • 3, 10, or unlimited domains — depending on the hosting you purchase
  • 14-day money back guarantee

Host1Plus is one of the foremost web hosts on the net and it’s easy and affordable. They’re currently running a promo of 40% discount. So you only pay N10,500 for the first (12 months) one year – if you’re going for the Personal plan. And where other hosting accounts sell a domain name for N3000 ($15), Host1Plus gives you for FREE. You only need to click this Host1Plus link and you’ll find the below pops up.

If you’re just starting out, I’d advise you go for the Personal plan (even though I strongly recommend the other plans too). To choose any of the plan of your choice, just click “Select” below any of the plans.

A server configuration page will come up:

On that page, choose your server location. Select “Los Angeles,” but if it’s already been selected as default, leave it at that. Next, choose your billing cycle. Here it’s better you either choose 12 months or 24 months. You know, the higher the duration, the juicier the discount. In the next section, the “Recommended” are fantastic services that’ll enhance your website. But if you’re just starting out, I’d advise you to leave them like that (as ticking them will attract extra charges). Next is to confirm your estimated order total. It must be $32.40 if you’ve chosen 12 months, and $61.20 for 21 months. After this, click “Domain names.” Not to worry, with Host1Plus, domain name is free.

What pops up next is the domain registration page where you’re to register a new domain name. Or if you already have one, you can transfer it to Host1Plus.

If you want to register a new domain name, you need to first check whether the domain name you’ve chosen is available. To do this, type your desired domain name in the space provided and click “Check availability”.

If your domain name is available, you’ll be given the opportunity to choose from the different extensions available such as “.com, .net, .org, .info, etc.” Tick your desired extension and click “Billing information”.

In the next page that comes up, you’ll be required to provide your email address and a password of your choice. Next, enter your billing information: choose “Personal” for Account Type; for Zip code, enter 11001. Then under the payment option, choose “Credit card”, if you’re paying with your ATM card.

Note: You must provide a valid and correct email because you’ll receive valuable information through it. You must know that the renewal of the hosting account is automatic, so use your own ATM Mastercard.

Very importantYour residential address must be the same as the one associated with your local bank.

Next, click “Complete an order” and then a confirmation page will load showing that you’ve successfully ordered a hosting account.

P.S. Check your email. You should receive a message containing your cPanel login username and password from Host1Plus. You’ll need it to login into your hosting account later.

Congrats! Now you have a hosting account and a free domain name.

Note: To get all the bonuses I earlier promised you need to go through this link.

Next thing now is how to install WordPress on your site.

Go to Host1Plus Home Page. Then click “Log in” and enter your email address and password you created earlier. Next, click “Services” and then click “Web hosting”. A list of your web hosting plans will appear. Click on the one on which you want to install your blog. Then scroll down the “login details” and click “Login to cPanel”.

Now you need to enter your login details sent to your email earlier after purchasing hosting account. In the cPanel page, you’ll see the “Softaculous App Installer”. There click the WordPress Icon. At the top of the next page that comes up, you’ll see a blue “Install” button. Click it.

In the next page, you’ll see the “Software Setup” section, just delete the “wp” in the “In Directory” field and leave space blank. Make sure you leave the “Database Settings” as it is. Next is the “Site Settings” section, which you’ll see after scrolling down. There enter your desired name and description for your site. Then proceed to the “Admin Account” section. Here, it is advisable to change your default “admin” username to something else, probably a name you’re not particularly associated with. Then at the bottom of the page, click “Install”.

Wait for a few seconds for the installation to finish. Later, a page will load where you’ll see your username and password. That’s the confirmation page. Also, a confirmation email will be sent to you.

Bravo! You’ve just successfully installed WordPress on your website.

You can check how your site looks like by simply visiting your domain URL. Mine is You’ll find the WordPress default theme and your blog name and title.

Login to your self-hosted website and publish your first post.

At this point, you really need not worry yourself about your first post. Meaning, it doesn’t have to be perfect; it’s merely to test your new website.

To do this, go to (“yourdomain” here means the name of your new website). Then login with your username and password used earlier above.

On the next page, you’ll find the dashboard, where you do all the settings on your website. It’s located on the left hand side of the screen menu. Hover your mouse on “Posts” and click “Add New” from the sub-menus that will pop up.

Next, enter the title of your post in the first space and then on the second, paste the content of your post and then click “Publish” which is by the right hand side.

Then click “View post” to see how your post looks like and, as it will appear to your audience.

Yippee! You may now begin to share your great ideas with the world, impact on lives and make a difference.

NB: Normally the whole process above takes just 15 to 20 minutes. But because this is probably your first time, 30 minutes or less should be okay.

You can give me a call on +2347033725239 or contact me on Facebook. I’ll help you out for FREE, on the condition that you’ve bought a hosting plan of either 12 month or 24 month through the links on this page.
